Privacy Policy
Last updated October 18, 2026 · Written by Premier
This policy explains what the Fiction Vertices website (the "Site") collects, why, and what you can do about it. It's run by the Fiction Vertices studio ("we", "us").
1. What we collect
- From Discord when you sign in: your Discord user ID, username or display name, and avatar. We also check whether you're in the Fiction Vertices Discord server, which roles you have there, and whether you own it. We don't get your email, password or messages.
- Account info we keep: your Discord ID, name, avatar, whether you're an admin, when you last signed in, when you accepted these terms, and whether you've been banned. Your avatar is shown on files you upload.
- Your uploads: the files you upload, plus their name, size, type, folder, upload time and who uploaded them. Other team members can see this information.
- Sign-in cookie: a session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 7 days, and a short-lived cookie protects the Discord sign-in step. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Browser storage: your browser remembers display settings like grid or list view. This stays on your device.
- Technical logs: Cloudflare, which hosts the Site, may log things like IP addresses and request details to keep the service running and secure.
2. How we use it
- To sign you in and check that you're allowed in.
- To store, show and let the team download project files.
- To show who uploaded what, and to keep the Site secure.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for ads.
3. Who processes it
- Discord handles sign-in.
- Cloudflare hosts the Site, its database and stored files. Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where Cloudflare operates.
4. How long we keep it
- Your account info is kept while you're on the team. Admins can delete it, and your sign-in cookies, on request or when you leave. Your Discord ID is kept on a ban list so the ban works.
- Files you upload are project work owned by Fiction Vertices (see the Terms) and are kept for as long as the studio needs them.
- Expired sign-in sessions are deleted automatically.
5. Your choices
- You can sign out any time.
- You can ask us to see or correct the account info we hold about you.
- Deleting your cookies and data: you can ask an admin to delete your sign-in cookies and account data. Once an admin does this, you're signed out on every device and your Discord account is banned from signing in again. Files you uploaded stay, because they belong to Fiction Vertices. If you want to come back later, an admin can unban you.
- You can revoke the Site's access in Discord under User Settings → Authorized Apps.
6. Children
The Site is for team members who meet Discord's minimum age. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone below it.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and ask you to accept it again when you next sign in.
8. Contact
Privacy questions or data requests: message an admin in the Fiction Vertices Discord server.
